
Climbers wishing to belay must be at least 13 years old and have passed a belay test administered by an HRCA climbing instructor. Bouldering participants 13 years and older must keep their feet at or below the grey line.

While bouldering, participants 12 years and younger must keep their feet at or below the white line. Thus, participants must be at least 7 years old to climb on the wall and children 12 and under must have a parent present at all times while climbing or bouldering in the climbing area.Because of the high risk of injury, climbers must be alert and carefully follow safe climbing procedures at all times.A waiver must be signed in addition to the membership card appropriately punched. Based upon manufacturer’s recommendations, all climbers must be 18 years of age (or have written consent of a parent or legal guardian and pass the General Orientation Test).
